Hannan Khan

I'm a UX Designer studying at Wilfrid Laurier. I do research, design, and usability testing on real client work, driving schools, and Arduino builds. Accessibility is where I started and it's still what I care about most.

Why I do this

My aunt Isma is the reason I ended up in UX. She lives with a rare eye disability, and watching her struggle with everyday apps and websites made me realize how much design actually matters. If she can use it comfortably, I'm on the right track.

How I work

The same four steps, whether it's a client playbook or an Arduino box.

Research

Interviews, surveys, or usability tests, whatever actually gets me talking to the people who'll use the thing.

Define

Turning what I heard into a problem statement specific enough to actually design against.

Design

Wireframes, prototypes, or a physical build, whichever fits what's actually being made.

Test and refine

Putting it in front of real people again before calling it done, and adjusting based on what breaks.
